Ink and Ceramic, Triptych

This work started as an exploration of Australian native birds. At first I illustrated the birds with ink on paper and then we had the idea to recreate the drawings in clay – clay is fragile, just like native birds and the natural world. I really enjoyed experimenting with new mediums in this series and I am really proud of the results.
